Springdale, AR- The defending 4A baseball state champion Shiloh Christian Saints will begin their 2017 season in style as they are utilizing their new artificial turf infield as well as playing under the lights at home for the first time in school history. Shiloh hosts the Springdale Bulldogs (1-0) from the 7A West Tonight at 07:00 following a JV contest at 5:00.

Shiloh head baseball coach Moe Henry has designated this night as "Military Night" to honor soldiers and veterans. Shiloh teacher and coach, Lieutenant Keith McDaniel, was recently deployed overseas, so his wife, Lauren will throw out the first pitch. Shiloh players and coaches will wear a "KH" on their caps this season to honor McDaniel as he serves our country. Shiloh volleyball coach Nathan Bodenstein will sing the national anthem.

Due to generous donors to the Legacy Campaign, the Geo-Surfaces turf was completed in November, and the state of the art Musco LED Lighting System was installed two weeks ago.
